The Malazian Family’s History with the Triple X Fraternity goes back many years. Some of the family history can be found in the Trexmen Golden Book (1968).
1968
The matriarch of the Malazian Family, Dorothy Malazian (nee’ Mooradian) had two brothers who were members of the Triple X Fraternity.
Her older sibling, Bro. Charles Moore (Mooradian) was a Past Master of the Fresno Chapter and served as a Grand Chapter Officer. Brother Charles Moore would be active with the Fraternity throughout his lifetime.
Dorothy’s younger sibling Mose Mooradian was also a member of the Triple X Fraternity. Brother Mose had a well earned reputation as a speedster and spent much of his life around all things automobile, especially cars from the pre-1950’s era.
Dorothy’s oldest son, Brother Gary Malazian was a member of the Junior Chapter of the Triple X Fraternity and would later go on to become a senior member of the Triple X Fraternity.
1972
Bro. Gary Malazian would eventually transfer to the Los Angeles Chapter of the Triple X Fraternity and was a Charter Member of the Orange County Chapter of the Fraternity when the Chapter was established in 1975.
Bro. Ara Malazian’s first exposure to the Triple X Fraternity began in those early years at picnics in the park in Anaheim and in Newport Beach.
1975
One of the celebration parties for the founding of the Orange County Triple X Chapter was hosted by the Malazian Family in their home located in Corona del Mar.
When the Triple X Fraternity in Fresno purchased the clubhouse, Dorothy Malazian’s husband, Oscar Malazian made a significant contribution towards the purchase of the clubhouse.
