On Wednesday, May 21, 2025 Bro. Ara joined with the many volunteers at the Los Angeles Trex Armenian Open Golf Tournament. There were over 110 golfers playing at the Moorpark Country Club in Moorpark California. There were Brothers from the Los Angeles, Fresno, Golden Gate and San Gabriel Chapters along with Grand Master Kenny Melkonian. LA Trex Open Chairman Bro. Steve Chelebian was at the course from 6:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. ensuring everything went smoothly. After working with Bro. Boghos Patatian to put up all of the sponsor banners and coordinate the vendors (including Jack Daniels, Gran Diamante Tequila and Ilegal Mezcal) Bro. Ara spent the day as Bro. Steve’s “gofer” until tear down and pack up and the end of the tournament.
As you can see from the photos, there were jobs that were pretty tough, but somebody has to do them…
